Sister’s and Spirit is an oral histories project that investigates the narratives of aging Black Lesbians. Through the organization ZAMI NOBLA, the short film looks to many questions surrounding spiritual representations in queer familial formations. Sister’s and Spirit: Angela Denise Davis is an interview with Angela, an ordained minister, and ukulele teacher. Through her narrative and music, this film looks at the intersections of queerness, blackness, and religion.
